So, there are more Hiltons than Hyltons in the US but a greater percentage of Hyltons are African American.

LOL. But that also equates to more African-American Hiltons than African-American Hyltons, if my math is right. But I want to believe that many, if not most, of those Hiltons likely belong to the Hylton-Joyce family. At least I know for sure that my Hilton family does. And let's not forget the African-American Heltons as well! Fitzhugh Hylton (my grandfather) had a younger brother who spelled his last name "Helton". I think that the website that I found will prove invaluable to all of us as we continue to expand our family tree.
